1. International Trade Union Forum on Social and Ecological Transitions: what’s next?

Last June, an International Trade Union Forum on Ecological and Social Transitions was organized in 5 languages, it gathered during 6 days more than 140 organizations from about 60 countries. At the end of this forum we agreed on a common call in view of Glasgow, we will present during this session the call and the process that preceded it, in the light of the ongoing discussions for the COP26.

2. Global Green New Deal – Learning from struggles

3. The future is public transport: acting locally, acting globally for public transport

Join us in a virtual roundtable where mayors, unions leaders, transport workers and civil society groups will discuss and exchange ideas on the future of public transport.
The Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, will present a global call for long-term sustainable investment in safe, accessible and affordable public transport with decent jobs.
Hear the views of mayors, workers, activists and campaigners. Contribute your ideas and help us build a strong movement for an urgent modal shift to public transport.
The event will be moderated by Kamal Ahmed, Editor-in-Chief and co-founder The News Movement and former BBC and Guardian journalist
