Call for offers: Video producer for a video on EU green energy transition

The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, a nationally and internationally active German political foundation, is committed to the thoughts and actions of its namesake, the socialist Rosa Luxemburg: We are committed to peace, democracy, social justice and democratic socialism.

The project

The Brussels office of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation is seeking offers from qualified video producers for the creation of a short, engaging video that explains the challenges of the EU’s green energy transition.

The video will build on previous work of RLS Brussels on public energy ownership, including the study ‘Mapping Public Pathways for Europe’s Energy Transition.’

The video production should:

• Translate complex findings into an accessible and visually compelling narrative.
• Highlight the key issues and contradictions in the European electricity market, showing how its current design hampers green energy transition.
• Demonstrate why a publicly owned energy system in Europe offers a better alternative, capable of delivering affordable renewable energy at the scale required to meet EU climate goals.

The script will be developed in close cooperation with the RLS Brussels office.

Narration will be provided by on-camera presenter, identified with and approached by RLS Brussels office.

The video should combine suitable footage (archival or stock) and may include simple motion graphics or animation to support key messages.

Your profile

Very good videography and video-editing skills;

Proven experience producing high-quality videos that communicate complex topics to a wider audience;

Proven track record of collaboration with organisations, institutions, or NGOs on joint projects;

Selection criteria

Price offer; (40%)

Deliverables

Creation of a video as outlined above, 5 to 10 minutes in length;

Submission of the video: 15 December 2025;

Submission of script and visual concept: 29 October 2025
